Vintage Car Rally with questions and exercises along the route

VROM Rally

This year's rally takes us between the start at Gräfsnäs castle ruin just outside Alingsås via winding small and large roads down to the finish line in Arendal, Gothenburg. The journey goes Via Antens Museum Railway, worth an extra stop on the road.

Roadbook is available to pick up at the starting point from 10:00. Starting times between 12:00 and 13:30, and with the final finish in Arendal at 17:00. The starting fee of 100 SEK/10 EUR is payable on site. No pre-notification required.

At Gräfsnäs there is a café and plenty to watch. If you are in good time there are time for a guided tour around the castle ruins under the direction of the local home-building association. https://www.alingsas.se/grafsnas-slottsruin-och-park

Dinner and presentation

At 18.00, dinner is taken place for cost price at the Dockside restaurant close to the finishing point and exhibition area. Information about menu and price comes shortly.

At 19.30, Per-Åke Fröberg from Volvo Cars Heritage is holding a lecture on Volvo's early years.

No pre-registration is required for the evening's event.

Sunday, 20/8

Exhibition and market next to the Volvo Museum in Arendal.

Exhibition and market adjacent to the Volvo Museum, Arendal. Program between 9.00-16.00. Program items mixed with information and presentations of exciting and interesting Volvo cars, award ceremony for Saturday's VROM rally, etc.

Free entry for exhibitors and visitors. No pre-registration required.

The exhibition area looks a bit different this year as we will not be able to use the large fenced area we use because of a visiting passenger ship. The car exhibition and the market are therefore moved to what was used as a visitor park last year.
